The CIGA Group consists of The Installation Assurance Authority (IAA) and The Installation Assurance Authority Commercial Services (IAA CS). With our head office based in Leighton Buzzard we have operated as CIGA for over 27 years and in April 2020 launched the Installation Assurance Authority as the Technical Authority across all insulation measures and more recently the Installation Assurance Authority Commercial Services recognising our more commercial activity in support of the industry.
As a Group of companies we employ over 40 full time staff and have supported installers and homeowners since 1995, issuing over 6.2 million guarantees (effectively protecting 1 in every 4 homes across the UK).
The IAA is the technical authority and industry body that provides a quality assurance framework under a single compliance platform. Our framework gives homeowners, key stakeholders and funders the confidence that insulation work is carried out to the highest standards and subject to a level of rigor and surveillance which helps ensure it is done ‘Right First Time’.
The IAA CS delivers an array of commercial activities including a range of services such as Ventilation & Air Tightness Testing, Ventilation & Air Tightness Training and Retrofit Coordinator Services.
