COVID 19 - Procedures and Documentation


During the COVID – 19 pandemic the health and well-being of our workforce and homeowners is and will continue to be our number one priority. Following the Governments advice and response on social distancing the decision was taken to suspend any inspection or surveillance visits which were scheduled to be carried out on customer properties.
 
With the recent government announcement and rules relating to returning to work. The IAA and CIGA have taken the view that we can now reengage and schedule property inspections in circumstances where we can guarantee safe methods of carrying these inspections out.
 
The IAA have been working to provide members with resources and advice to mitigate the risk to their teams and customers. As changes are implemented by government that affect working practices The IAA will continue to update resources accordingly.
