PAS 2038 is a design standard, covering energy efficiency retrofit of non-domestic buildings. This includes shops, offices, factories, warehouses as well as hotels.
PAS 2038 is comparable to the specification of PAS 2035 to domestic retrofit and requiring installation of energy efficiency measures in compliance with PAS 2030. The IAA are cautious that the proposals currently drafted may not be suitable for projects involving small ‘domestic like’ properties.
