The IAA pride themselves on being the largest representative body of the insulation industry with over 140 installer members, 40 System Designer and Manufacturers and over 30 associate or individual scheme members.
As the industry technical authority, The IAA work directly with Central Government and Devolved Administrations on helping to shape policy ensuring it works for the industry as well as representing their membership on both technical and skills committees.
Through the work of their CEO, Nigel Donohue they have been instrumental in chairing an industry wide group to develop the new National Occupational Standards for all insulation measures and helped shape the future competency requirements of competent persons schemes. They sit on Devolved Administration retrofit and skills groups and are current members of the PAS2030/2035 steering group pursuing an agenda based upon the practical application of quality standards.
