Become MCS accredited with The IAA

The IAA are able to offer MCS Certification for:
  • Air Source Heat Pumps (ASHP)
  • Ground Source Heat Pumps (GSHP)
  • Solar PV
  • Solar Thermal
MCS Installer certification is similar to PAS certification and is required to access Microgeneration funding schemes such as SEG and BUS. Building on the Prime Ministers Ten Point Plan, the Heat & Building Strategy includes a number of initiatives intended to increase uptake of Microgeneration to support the UKs net zero by 2050 target. For example, this will involve increasing annual installations of Air Source Heat pumps from 30,000 currently, to 600,000 by 2028.
