Job Opportunity - NVQ Trainer & Assessor
Job type: Full time, permanent
Salary: £38,000 per year
Location: Leighton Buzzard
Reports to: Training Manager
The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for training and the motivation and commitment to help learners succeed on their programme of study. Ideally, they will have good mentoring skills and sound knowledge of working with awarding bodies and delivering NVQ qualifications. You should be comfortable working as part of a small team but have the ability to manage your own workload.
Role Purpose
- Delivery of Installer competency standards in line with IBT NOS
- Attaining and retaining certification for the delivery of NVQs and recognised training standards in both technical and health and safety competencies.
- Providing training and development across the business sector to both internal and external stakeholders in compliance with awarding organisation polices and processes and in line with industry needs and requirements.
- Carrying out Assessment of Competence
- Level 3 Award in Education and Training.
- Level 3 Certificate in Assessing Vocational Achievement or working towards (Previously D32/D33)
- Planning, delivering and assessing a wide range of programmes with differentiation for the varying abilities of our learners.
- Mentoring and supporting students
- Administration, portfolio building, working in accordance with awarding bodies requirements, reviewing and evaluation of quality provision.
- Contribute to marketing, recruitment and business development.
- Liaise with awarding bodies and be prepared to attend relevant training to ensure all knowledge is current
